History Of Cricket World Cup (1992)

Official Logo
The 1992 Cricket World Cup (Benson & Hedges World Cup) was the fifth version of the tournament and was held from 22 February to 25 March 1992 in Australia and New Zealand. It was sponsored by Benson and Hedges.
It was the first time when white color cricket balls were used with the colorful kits with black sight screen; it was the first time when the South African cricket team featured this version of world cup which in the end lost to England with a cruel Duckworth Lewis rule.
Finally in the final England lost out to Pakistan who was in incredible form; which meant Imran Khan lifted the trophy for the very first time.
